Halloween is coming soon! Kids are excited, costumes are picked or being picked, homes are decorated with ghosts, spider webs, spiders, goblins, pumpkins, and some really devoted Halloween Lovers are building elaborate Haunted Mansions that children have to navigate before getting to the prize. What an exciting time!

Watching our children anticipate the day brings so much more joy into our lives. Watching them thrill over the experience is enriching. Were anything to happen to any of these young charmers, the pain of loss would be devastating. With that in mind, let’s work together to keep our streets and children safe.

When out driving that evening, take extra care, slow down, watch the streets and sidewalks, and give the right-of-way to the night of Hallowed Celebration. Ensure the goodies you’re handing out meet the “concerned parents” standards for safety and quality. And above all, have fun.
